US politicians' scheme puts people's lives at stake

A trap for all countries
Every country in the world is a victim of the COVID-19 pandemic. It's the virus that is the enemy of all.
There has never been a precedent throughout history of a certain nation being asked to compensate for a public health event. The world will be sitting on a ticking time bomb if such a convention is broken.
Viruses respect no borders or races, and an epidemic could break out in any country at any time. If we went down the line of thinking of some people in the US, any country that detects an infectious disease first would have to pay the whole world for the disaster. How could people around the world agree to such a preposterous idea?
Once opening the "Pandora's box", the US will sow the seed of separation and hostility in the world. By then any virus that causes an epidemic can melt down partnerships between countries and wipe out their friendship and cooperation.
