Ningxia Hui's Minning township: Building a new future

A group of students at the central primary school of Minning, Ningxia Hui autonomous region, sang "Our school gives us wings, and our dream will finally come true” on the playground during an outdoor music class on Friday. Minning is a township built in 1997 in the Gobi desert to relocate people living in poor natural conditions.
More than 2,000 students at Minning's center primary school are all third generation of those immigrants. Their grandparents moved to Minning and were provided houses and jobs, which ensured them a better income and higher living standards.
