Korloff to make CIIE debut with 88-carat black diamond


French luxury jewelry brand Korloff will make its debut at the third China International Import Expo to be held in Shanghai in early November, displaying its signature 88-carat black diamond.
The 42-year-old French jewelry brand signed an agreement with Greenland Global Commodity Trading Hub via an online meeting in May, to showcase up to 500 products including jewelries, watches and perfumes at the hub in the near future.
Located opposite the venue of the CIIE, Greenland Global Commodity Trading Hub was opened in November 2018 as a 365-day trade platform to extend the services of the exhibition. The hub has accommodated 139 companies and organizations from 57 countries and regions, introducing more than 60,000 products.

Over time, the hub has received more than 5.6 million customers. The total online and offline trading volume facilitated by the hub has topped over 6 billion yuan ($855 milion) so far this year.
Xue Yingjie, general manager of of Greenland Global Commodity Trading Center Group, said an increasing number of companies have chosen to showcase their latest products at the hub ahead of the CIIE so that they can have more contact with Chinese buyers and consumers. At least 1,000 products currently exhibited at the hub now will be showcased at the CIIE this year, he said.
