Shanghai-based global intelligent logistics platform YQNLink and the National Public Information Platform for Transportation & Logistics signed a strategic collaboration agreement on Saturday during the ongoing third China International Import Expo.

According to the agreement, the two parties will cooperate in building a cross-border logistics public service system that has capabilities such as location tracking for container shipping and vessel arrival information.

Lin Rong, deputy director of the China Transport Telecommunications & Information Center, expressed hope that the creation of this platform can be a good contribution to the global logistics industry and the international supply chain, both of which have been severely impacted by COVID-19.

The cross-border logistics public service system is expected play its part in aiding the restoration of the global supply chain.

"We will fully utilize our technology and operation capabilities to facilitate enterprises in adapting to the challenges posed by COVID-19," said Zhou Shihao, founder and CEO of YQNLink.
