As the New Year and Spring Festival approach, workers are busily making old-style sheepskin lanterns at a factory in Jishan county, Shanxi province.
In accordance with the traditional process of making lanterns, including making brackets, pasting lantern faces and ribbons and installing holders, the workers created many interesting versions.
In recent years, on the basis of inheriting traditional lantern-making skills, the factory has created new designs and formed an industrial chain for lantern processing, which has driven the rapid development of the local lantern industry and helped farmers increase their incomes.
