The National Museum of China has unveiled a diverse, informative annual program under the National Exhibitions Project initiative first proposed last year.

Under this mechanism, the national museum has reached out to other museums, academic institutions, and research platforms around the country and abroad about mounting exhibitions.

It is designed to make better use of artifacts, and to facilitate the exchange of resources, show the best of Chinese civilization and other world civilizations, and illustrate the shared values of humanity.

The National Exhibitions Project announced its first 10 National Exhibition shows, including one that highlights technological innovations by university students, and another of previously looted artifacts that have recently been returned.
