For Chinese people, traditional medicine not only refers to the remedies they seek when feeling ill, but is integrated into their daily routines to maintain a healthy lifestyle and the philosophy that one can live a long, happy life that should not go against the rules of nature.
The ongoing exhibition Rules to Keep Life Circle at the Chinese Traditional Culture Museum explains how traditional Chinese medicine has developed and is practiced daily by people of all ages, regions and generations to keep physically and mentally fit.
Plants, remedies and apparatuses are among some 50 representations of cultural heritage relevant to TCM. The exhibition runs until August.
