9th International Audiology Conference held in Beijing

The 9th International Audiology Conference 2025 was hosted by the Beijing Society of Audiology, an audiology-related non-governmental organization, gathering nearly 1,000 audiology experts and industry practitioners from both at home and abroad, in Beijing on Saturday.
A concurrent industry exhibition offering free admission to the public has drawn participation from 33 domestic and international enterprises and institutions, with innovative products including hearing aids, cochlear implants and rehabilitation education platforms available for onsite experiencing.
The conference covers cutting-edge research in audiology, applications of AI-based technologies, exploration of remote rehabilitation service models, pediatric hearing healthcare services and policy analysis for elderly hearing health, comprehensively showcasing the industry's latest developments and future trends across these key focus areas.
"The advancement of the hearing industry requires our collective efforts, necessitating diversified forward-looking research from experts as well as securing industry-wide recognition and support, thereby laying a solid foundation for its sustainable development," said Wan Min, head of the BSA.
The industry should integrate resources with a global perspective and transform diversified competition into collaborative innovation, facing technological evolution and market transformations, thereby collectively enhancing the well-being of the hearing-impaired population and building a sustainable future for hearing health, Wan said.
Looking ahead, Wan added that the industry should focus on users' needs to deliver enhanced products and services to the market.
