Paintings, sculptures and installations by an international lineup of artists, such as Antony Gormley, Cai Lei and Tu Hongtao, are displayed throughout the Tahota Center in the Tianfu New Area in Sichuan province.

The exhibition See the World invites those working in or visiting the building into a moment of intimacy with art, prompting discussions about the relationship between art and public spaces — should they mingle together in areas such as a workplace to give people a brief release, or is art distracting?

Curated by Lan Qingwei and Cheng Cheng, the exhibition runs until June 20. It also reflects on the distance between the hustle and bustle of fast urbanization and an intimate world where one can temporarily rest.
