第七輪中美戰略與經濟對話將于6月23日至24日在美國華盛頓舉行。2015年6月22日，在第七輪中美戰略與經濟對話舉行前夕，國務院副總理汪洋、劉延東以及國務委員楊潔篪分別在美國媒體發表署名文章，力挺中美合作。以下為三篇文章中的要點摘錄。

也有人說，中美對話就像聾子間的爭吵，相互指責多于實際效果。
The role of this dialogue has been commended by many, but unfortunately also criticized by some, who see China-US dialogue as nothing more than a conversation between the deaf, producing more mutual accusations than actual results.

對話讓雙方找到并擴大了重大利益契合點，實現了互利共贏。
Dialogue has helped both of us to identify and expand our common interests and achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.

對話有效管控了分歧，避免了一時一事的爭端干擾中美合作大局。
Maintaining dialogue has helped both sides to effectively manage differences and minimize their impact on our relationship.

對話還有一個重要成果，就是雙方加深了了解，增強了合作基礎。
China-US dialogue has also gone a long way to strengthening mutual understanding and the foundation for cooperation between the two countries.

解決分歧和摩擦的辦法不止一種，對話是投入產出比最高的方式。
There are different ways of resolving differences and frictions, and dialogue is certainly the most cost-effective means for doing so.
