如今互聯網發展迅速，社交平臺也迎來了一波又一波的紅包大戰。我們該如何向老外講述這兩種紅包呢？

常見的紅包翻譯是red envelope，壓歲錢則是lucky money或gift money。

那么互聯網中的電子紅包就是electronic red envelope，紅包大戰就是red-envelope war/fight, battle of the red envelopes。

而讓紅包再成熱潮的是微信推出的“紅包功能”，讓用戶通過電子支付發紅包。

這個功能的衍生玩法“紅包抽獎”（red envelope lucky draw），又稱“搶紅包”，更是大受歡迎，因為它是由程序來隨機發錢（allocate the money randomly），增加了許多趣味性。
