Macao SAR's CPI in March rises year-on-year

MACAO -- The Statistics and Census Service (DSEC) of the Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR) reported on Friday that the SAR's composite consumer price index (CPI) for March 2025 rose by 0.04 percent year-on-year, but dropped by 0.08 percent month-on-month.
The DSEC also reported that, for the 12 months ending in March 2025, the average composite CPI rose by 0.48 percent from the previous period.
Price indices for education, miscellaneous goods and services, and health showed notable increases, while the transport index experienced a decline.
In the first quarter of 2025, the average composite CPI grew by 0.15 percent year-on-year, according to the DSEC.
