Six cooperation agreements covering smart healthcare, new energy vehicles, and building materials were signed Sunday at an economic and trade exchange conference in Selangor, Malaysia.

The conference was part of the Malaysia China Linyi Commodity Exhibition in Kuala Lumpur, which attracted 5,000 international purchasers exploring trade cooperation opportunities.

Organized by Linyi Trade City, a wholesale trading center in China, the exhibition displayed sports goods, daily necessities, kitchenware, automotive supplies, and small building materials and hardware.

Economic and trade cooperation between Malaysia and Linyi has increased over the past few years. According to official data, Linyi's import and export volume with Malaysia reached 8.91 billion yuan ($1.22 billion) in 2024, a year-on-year increase of 67.9 percent.
